Jobs in Yosemite

topic posted Tue, May 1, 2007 - 2:31 PM by  DreamCatcher
Ever since my last stay at Yosemite, I've been thinking about looking for a job in Yosemite.
I love the idea of living and working in such a beautiful place, even if it's just for a season.

Any suggestions?

I have a class A CDL so I naturally talked with one of the bus drivers about their job- of course it didnt pay a lot and when you just start you kind of get the crappy schedule but move up the longer you stay. Housing and some other benifits were included, if I ever found my self unemployeed near there in the spring that would definetly be an option. I think it would be cool for seasonal work especially if you are a real 'people person'.

It's easy to get a job with the concession this time of year. (not a good job usually but you'll be in Yosemite with cheap housing ((not good housing but you'll be in Yosemite)))

Be aware, they do pre-employment drug testing (no you don't get to test...)

    Peace

That's a good idea. Perhaps I should try the Ansel Adams Gallery in the Valley. I'm a photographer and enjoy it very much, so maybe that's a good 1st start.
